Registration is now open for the Advanced Readiness Institute: Meeting the Challenges of ESSA and the Profile of the SC Graduate. It will be held on September 21 and 22, 2018, at the Inn at USC in Columbia SC. The registration fee is $25 per person, and that covers workshop materials, a reception on Friday afternoon, and lunch on Saturday.
We will begin at 4:00PM on Friday afternoon with a reception and a short presentation. Saturday will be a full day of presentations, discussion, and planning, beginning at 9:00AM and ending around 3:00PM. On Saturday, we will hear from SC educators about their approaches to college and career readiness, and Stephanie DiStasio, Director of the Office of Personalized Learning for the SC Department of Education, will present on the SC Personalized Learning Framework and the Profile for the SC Graduate.
