One of the Center’s main objectives is to provide professional development opportunities for educators and administrators in South Carolina.  In order to increase the level of college and career readiness of our students, we offer opportunities to learn more about cognitive strategies, content knowledge, learning skills and techniques, and transition knowledge and skills.

Our past efforts include training in project-based learning and teaching soft skills; bringing educators from around SC together at P-20 summits to share knowledge; and developing a post-graduate Readiness course for teachers to show them how to implement higher standards of readiness in their own schools.
