Activate Academy alumni were treated to dinner and a performance by Francis Marion University’s Music Industry Ensemble on Thursday, November 21, 2019.
Dr. Brandon Goff, Associate Professor of Music Technology, spent some time with the students, talking about music degrees and the music industry as a career.
Students were then treated to a performance by FMU’s Music Industry Ensemble. The M.I.E. is a chamber ensemble devoted to the development of individual performance and improvisation skills through the staging of music representing jazz, pop, rock, and soul styles.
