The 2017 Activate Academy was held this year from June 19 through June 22, 2017.  42 rising 8th graders from Florence Districts One, Two, Three, and Four spent 4 days and 3 nights on the campus of Francis Marion University for an introduction to college life and some hands on sessions with college professors.  Other activities included a day spent at Boeing in Charleston, a Red Wolves game, and participation in a real world financial simulation game.
